Superworms

 

Superworms aka king mealworms

While superworms look like large sized mealworms, they are not mealworms but an entirely different species. Mealworms can only grow to a maximum size of slightly more than 1 inch and never reach the size of superworms.

 

Keeping superworms

Superworms can be kept in exactly the same way as mealworms except they need live more spaced out. If too overcrowded, they can attack one another and especially those that just moulted (shedding outer hard skin).
